MendingMap Community Guidelines
Short rules that keep the map honest and useful for everyone who eats cheap in Jakarta.
Good
- ✅ Add a warung, warkop or cart you have actually been to
- ✅ Post today's price from the board on the wall, and fix a price or opening time that has changed
- ✅ Review what you ate — in words, in a five-second clip, or both
- ✅ Confirm a place you have been to, and say so when one is gone
Not OK
- ❌ Hoaxes: fake places, fake prices, photos that are not from the place, reviews of places you have not been to
- ❌ Harassment: hate speech, racism, threats, body shaming
- ❌ Adult or violent content: pornography, graphic violence
- ❌ Other people's privacy: phone numbers, home addresses, names of private people, or someone's face without their permission
- ❌ Spam: advertising, links, the same post again and again
What happens
- Content that breaks these rules is taken down. We look at every report within 24 hours.
- An account that keeps breaking them is stopped from posting.
- Serious violations may be reported to the authorities under Indonesian law, including the ITE law.
Reporting
Every place, review, clip and photo has a report button. A review you report disappears from your screen straight away, and you can hide a person's reviews so you no longer see them.
